The following is what I have for Albaneve Summits Lore in Enshrouded. NOTE: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS - I won’t share Lore content, but the titles may give things away, and the photos may reveal things. For an overview of what the heck I’m talking about, click here! Since I found most of these, they won’t glow red in the pictures, but they should glow red, like a fire, for you if you haven’t discovered them yet. If not, I’m sure the game developers would appreciate any feedback or hearing of any glitches, bugs, or malfunctions as this is an Early Access game - in that it isn’t fully finished and they are still working out some things. Albaneve Summits

Balefire Garrison "Windward" Notes

1/2 I'm Not Cut Out For This

This Lore and the second piece of it can both be found at the Balefire Garrison “Windward” Notes. There is also a Pure Soul here, but I’m getting ahead of myself. From the top area of the garrison, you can see a door to the left. Head for that and you’ll find the Pure Soul and this Lore!

2/2 Wind Riders

This Lore can also be found in the Balefire Garrison “Windward”. It was particularly easy to see at night. From the top of the garrison, look down and you’ll be able to spot it glowing (bottom right).

A Devious Performance

1/2 All Preparations Are Done!

This Lore can be found at the top of a tower in New Cromville. I’ll have to come back later, after I’ve upgraded my Flame so I can explore the rest of the area and hopefully find the second half of this Lore :D SUCCESS! So, reading this Lore starts the Items, XP, and Loot Reward Quest: A Devious Performance. And you CAN find the second half of this Lore (2/2 Only Today: The Fabulous Godwin’s “Impalement Act!”) in New Cromville!

BONUS - at the same location as the Lore, you can find a Silver Chest with the Jester Hat inside!

2/2 Only Today: The Fabulous Godwin’s “Impalement Act!”

This Lore can be found in the ruins of New Cromville beneath the Shroud. There is a bulletin board with the paper stuck to it. It’s located in a roofless building.

Scouting Mission To The Obelisk

1/1 A Little Scouting Won't Hurt

You can find this scroll at the Balefire Garrison “White Pine”. Reading this Lore will start the Items, XP, and Loot Reward Quest: Scouting Mission To The Obelisk.

The Alchemist Of Wickmouth

1/1 Alchemical Calculations, And Vultures

Located in Wickmouth’s lighthouse tower, where you completed the first and second parts of the Alchemist Quest: Alchemic Wisdom, you can find this Lore. It’s down the stairs (from the roof) and just a smidge into the enshrouded area.

Dragon Skeletons

1/3 The Ice-Cold Winds Hid Whitewing Vultures

You can be find these papers about halfway between the Elixir Production Site and the Ancient Spire – Albaneve Summits Fast Travel in an unmarked camp. The papers are inside a tent on the left. Nearby is the first half of the Ancients and the Flame Lore: Search For The Ancient Lands 1/2 Don't Go.

2/3 Skeleton Discoveries

This Lore can be found in Skeleton Excavation Camp “Ony”. There is a tent here with the scroll sitting inside.

3/3 I Can't Believe My Eyes

This Lore can be found in Skeleton Excavation Camp “Mae”. There is a tent here with the scroll sitting inside.

Flame Mosaic

1/1 What I Leave Behind

This Lore can be found in Everfrore Keep. It’s in the building my character is standing on. Hop inside from the shattered roof to reach the scroll. (Currently, this does not trigger the Items, XP, and Loot Reward Quest: Flame Mosaic, but it might in a future update - 02-06-25.)

Cyclops Head Research

1/1 Thank You For Your Service

This scroll is located in Balefire Stronghold “Lance Point”. It’s in the building near where you exit the cave system full of scavengers (the one on the right). Climb down or glide down to the ground level to find the table at the far back of the hall. I went through the double doors, but you can descend the tower to reach it, too.

Path To Darkness

1/1 Deepest Desire

While doing the Blacksmith Quest: A Blast Furnace For The Blacksmith, you can find this Lore. From the main entrance of the Forge Of Obsidia, head to the building on the right. Inside will be the piece of Lore. Reading it will trigger the Block Quest: Path To Darkness - Obsidian Block.

Chester Loft Notes

1/2 Starting A New Chapter

I’m so excited for this Lore! I wondered what happened to lucky Chester! YAY! Anyway, this book can be found at the top of a Small Watchtower. You’ll also find a Music Sheet from the Bard Quest: Finding Music Sheets In The Albaneve Summits.

2/2 What A Lucky Day

This Lore is located at the Elixir Production Site next to a Music Sheet from the Bard Quest: Finding Music Sheets In The Albaneve Summits.

TIP: Also at this location is the Albaneve Summits Lore: The Mysterious Recruit 1/2 About The New Recruit – this starts the Items, XP, and Loot Reward Quest: Secret Brewery.

Gliding Contest Notes

1/2 Gliding Contest!

This Lore can be found at the Balefire Stronghold “Iron Heart”. From the entrance, head inside and toward the back right. Near a skull gong and brazier is a note on a wooden beam. The second part of this Lore is also nearby, so don’t go too far!

From the gliding platform at Balefire Stronghold “Iron Heart”, head southwest toward the updrafts and the distant platform across the Shroud. From there, glide over. The book will be on a book to the left.

The Mysterious Recruit

1/2 About The New Recruit

This one can be found at the Elixir Production Site. It’s located at the end of an overlook. Reading the page will start the Items, XP, and Loot Reward Quest: Secret Brewery.

TIP: Also at this location is the Albaneve Summits Lore: Chester Loft Notes 1/2 Starting A New Chapter and the Bard Quest: Finding Music Sheets In The Albaneve Summits.

2/2 Follow-Up On The Request For Recruit Names

From the Albaneve Summits Lore: Forever Waiting 3/3 There's Too Much Paperwork!, head down the stairs or fall to your death (unless you glide before you die). At the bottom there will be a scroll on a desk with a skeleton (Albaneve Summits Lore: Forever Waiting 2/3 We're On Break) and another scroll on the bookshelf behind it. The scroll on the bookshelf is this Lore.

Forever Waiting

1/3 Everfrore Keep's Public Citizen's Request Board

Ok, starting with the second piece of this Lore, (2/3 We're On Break), head through the doorway with the skeletons. Then, take a left. Head through the doorway and after passing through, turn around. There will be a plaque on the wall, which is the Lore you seek!

2/3 We're On Break

From the third piece of this Lore (3/3 There's Too Much Paperwork!), head down the stairs or fall to your death (unless you glide before you die). At the bottom there will be this scroll on a desk with a skeleton and another scroll on the bookshelf behind it. The second scroll is the Albaneve Summits Lore: The Mysterious Recruit 2/2 Follow-Up On The Request For Recruit Names.

3/3 There's Too Much Paperwork!

Located in the Albaneve Summits, this building can be found on one of the upper slopes with the Balefire Brazier glowing in the distance. Enter the building on the left in the second photo and look up to see a grapple spot. This will take you directly to the Lore. Reading the scroll will start the Items, XP, and Loot Reward Quest: Forever Waiting.

Brotherly Hijinx

1/1 It's Not Phair, Mom!

These papers are located pretty close to the Ancient Spire – Albaneve Summits Fast Travel at the Fairfield Goat Farm. Take the side door to the building to enter a kitchen area with the notes on the table. This relates closely to the Items, XP, and Loot Reward Quest: Finding Cosmetic Fluffy Set.

A Young Soldier's Thoughts

1/2 My First Day WIth The Expansion program

This Lore can be found at the Balefire Stronghold “Iron Heart”. From the entrance, head inside and down some stairs until you reach the sleeping quarters. On a window ledge is a book to read. Stay in the area for the second part of this Lore!

2/2 I Want To go home

In the same area as the first piece of this Lore, you’ll find the sad conclusion to the soldier’s thoughts. I found this book at night by climbing to the top of the tower and looking down. From there, it was an easy glide down to the glowing book.

An Answered Prayer

1/1 Our Call Was Answered!

This one can be found in an unmarked location northeast of Howling Peak. The book is inside a run-down church and is resting on a pedestal near the back wall.

Missing Socks

1/1 We're out of socks

This Lore can be found at the Gateway Outpost “Alba” in the Albaneve Summits. Head left from the front gates and climb up to reach the double doors.

TIP: Reading this Lore will activate the Items, XP, and Loot Reward Quest: Missing Socks.

The Albaneve Summits Prison

1/2 What To Do With The Prisoners?

This Lore, along with the second half of it and the Pure Soul Anton Godwin, can be found in Gateway Outpost “Drifa”. Head up the stairs to the right and you’ll see the scroll glowing on the second floor of a large room.

2/2 Can’t I Slack Off In Peace?

This Lore, along with the first half of it and the Pure Soul Anton Godwin, can be found in Gateway Outpost “Drifa”.  Climb to the top of the prison to reach these papers and a Gold Chest!

Bed Time Stories

1/2 Who Is Scared Of Flying Horrors?

This Lore can be found in Polaris Falls in the houses further up on the cliff. Head through the door of the house below and then head up the stairs. There will be a bedroom with the book resting on an end table.

Inside the cute little cottage on the cliff overlooking Everfrore Keep is the lullaby you seek.

Polaris Falls Cyclops Cave

1/2 Gotta Fix That Fence

This Lore can be found VERY close to the Ancients And The Flame Lore: The Twinflame Swords 1/2 Never Whole (reading that Lore will activate the Items, XP, and Loot Reward Quest: The Lesser Twinflame Sword). From that Lore, head back through the hallway and up the stairs. Then, bash or blast the wood blocking the doorway ahead and BOOM there it is! Reading this Lore will start the Items, XP, and Loot Reward Quest: Polaris Falls Cyclops Cave.

2/2 Big Brain Tactics

This Lore can be found northeast of the Balefire Garrison “White Pine”. It is located on a lone bridge. Reading this Lore will activate the Items, XP, and Loot Reward Quest: Cyclops Cave Near Bridge – which is linked to The Collector Quest: A Skeleton Cyclops Collection.
