Writing And Gaming Update
Three blogs in three days?! That’s right! I had a flurry of energy one day and decided to kick it into overdrive! I may be ill, but I’m most sick of not being able to do anything that I love doing. So, I’m taking back my life and giving an update to boot!
Writing Update - Beyond A Yearly Time Capsule Event
Not long ago, I had an AMAZING time in Nashville, Tennessee. While there, I helped my husband by being his Visual Observer as he flew his drone and safely avoided the migrating Purple Martins (birds) as he captured the city. My main focus, however, was the Killer Nashville writing convention.
Killer Nashville
I like to believe I’m intelligent, aside from those Fibro fog and sleep apnea brain fog moments where I just smile and blink. However, I had a head-smacking moment as a writer friend pointed out that I kept writing murder mysteries and supernatural thrillers. I thought I was a science fiction and fantasy writer!
*smack
Well, remedied of that fantasy, pun intended (but only if it hurts you as much as it hurt me), I sought help. And there is seriously no better place to learn about murders, mysteries, death, cops, detectives, thrillers, and more than at the Killer Nashville event. People come from all over to share their expertise and success. There are editors and agents and so many amazing writers! It’s a weekend that lets you lose yourself in your craft.
For myself, it was a weekend to connect with some amazing people, too! I’d give a list, but it would be obnoxiously long, and I feel fatigued just thinking about organizing that and worrying about missing someone important. Just know that I love you and that I am considering a blog about connections from that event.
What’s On The Horizon For Me Now?
So glad you asked! Lol. I have one more writing conference this year, but I’ll save that for its own blog as there is some drama with that. That’s right. The conference hasn’t even started yet and I have drama. Ugh!
Gaming Update - More Enshrouded Lore
I’ve felt so bad! As I had my ups and downs, I adjusted how I lived. On the down swings, I played games like Valheim, Enshrouded, Raft, etc. But, on my upswings, I focused on taking back household chores and responsibilities so that my loving husband didn’t get caregiver burnout. He had so much on his plate! And to some extent, he still does. I’m trying though! Darn it! I’ll take it all back and more!
Rant over!
Now that I am doing worse again, I find I have just enough energy for blogging and playing a video game. That’s right, Enshrouded fans, I’m going Lore hunting and Quest seeking again! You can count on me!
What’s On The Horizon For Enshrouded Fans Now?
More lore and quests are about to be found and conquered! Gamer fans, prepare yourselves! I’ll have some blog updates soon with lore locations and quest completion guides!
Until next time, may your adventures be many and your inspiration be endless!
