Enshrouded Quests Overview

Written by Sarah-Maree

Upon request, I’m now working on creating a walkthrough similar to my Lore page for the game Enshrouded: This is a bit different than seeking out Lore (Click here to see Lore Overview). I’ve started a new character with a new map so that I can properly capture the quest lines. All images used in this blog post are screenshots from the game Enshrouded.

WARNING: Game play / storyline spoilers ahead!

NOTE: All content below is from BEFORE Hollow Halls Update - version number 510434. Content below is good for anything before March 26th, 2024. Content may still be relevant after March 26th, 2024 - but there may be gaps in the information below as more Lore and Quests were added by developers.

Disclaimer Time!

One

There are going to be SPOILERS AHEAD, so don’t keep reading if you don’t want those.

Two

In total, there are 88 quests in Enshrouded - so far. I also may have missed more than one if they were attached to Lore I didn’t know about or areas I haven't fully explored. YOU CAN SKIP QUESTS - this is accomplished by moving faster than expected. Like, if you keep doing things and don't return to speak to a character, you may resolve things before they ask you to. In that case, the quest is gone *poof*.

The Quests

UPDATE: There are 88 quests in total! Below are all the quests I know about :)

The quests below are broken up into 8 categories based on who / what gives you the quest and then two were split into what you receive as a reward (item, XP, loot vs building block). There are:

You can see how many quests you have completed when you first enter the game. It will appear at the left side of the screen. The first screenshot below is of my first character, which has 80 of the 88 quests completed (this is how I found out you can skip quests if you aren't careful). And the second screenshot is an example of what it looks like when you start out - the image is of my second character (full screen view) of how many she’s completed - 2 quests completed with 1 active.

Max Comfort

Building a base at the "Blue Goblet" Tavern will give you a higher comfort level than building and crafting your own base. Some items may still need to be added, but the pre-built area has items players can't craft. Or so the rumors say. Currently, this location does not appear on the map, despite a pop-up saying the location was added (true as of February 16th, 2024).

If you’re looking for what will get your base to max comfort, check out the comment made by a fan on my Enshrouded Lore Overview page. He has photos, too!
